Meeting the physical health needs of people with serious mental illness (SMI) in primary care Using a mixed methods approach to address this research question. The
qualitative part of the study explores patient and practitioner perspectives on
quality of care in the Yorkshire and Humber region. It consists of 19
interviews with people living with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and 11
interviews with GPs and practice nurses. The quantitative part of the study
will use electronic health records to investigate the impact of financial
incentives from the Quality and Outcomes Framework for physical health checks on
SMI patients. |
